1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Tam's rideshare services in Jordan, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Service Description

Tam provides a digital platform that connects passengers with drivers for city-to-city transportation within Jordan. We facilitate connections between users but do not provide transportation services directly.

3. User Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid Jordanian ID or legal residency
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. Driver Requirements

Drivers must additionally:

  • Hold a valid Jordanian driving license
  • Have valid vehicle registration and insurance
  • Pass background checks as required by Jordanian law
  • Passenger safety is the responsibility of the vehicle driver.
  • Do not use a vehicle that is not registered in the application.

5. Payment and Pricing

Payment terms:

  • Prices are set by drivers and displayed before booking
  • Payment is processed through our secure platform
  • Tam charges a service fee as disclosed during booking
  • Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy

6. User Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Treat all users with respect and courtesy
  • Not engage in discriminatory behavior
  • Follow all applicable Jordanian laws
  • Not use the service for illegal activities
  • Provide accurate information in all interactions

7. Safety and Insurance

While we strive to ensure user safety:

  • Users participate in rides at their own risk
  • Drivers must maintain valid insurance coverage
  • Users should verify driver and vehicle details before riding
  • Emergency contact information should be shared with trusted contacts

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Jordanian data protection laws. Your personal information is used solely for providing our services and improving user experience.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policy:

  • Free cancellation up to 2 hours before departure
  • 50% refund for cancellations within 2 hours of departure
  • No refund for no-shows or cancellations after departure time
  • Driver cancellations result in full refunds

10. Limitation of Liability

Tam's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Jordanian law. We are not responsible for:

  • Actions or omissions of drivers or passengers
  • Vehicle accidents or mechanical failures
  • Loss or damage to personal property
  • Delays or cancellations beyond our control

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved through:

  • First, direct communication between parties
  • Mediation through Tam's customer service
  • If necessary, arbitration under Jordanian law

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Jordanian courts.
